BOOKING AND PASSENGER TRANSPORT TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Booking a Journey

By making a booking with D&RW TAXI LTD, the customer agrees to these Terms and Conditions.

2. Fare Estimates

Any fare quoted before the journey begins is an estimate only. The final fare will be determined by the taximeter and may vary depending on the route taken, traffic conditions, waiting time, diversions, or other circumstances.

3. Deposits

For selected journeys, particularly long-distance, airport, or special bookings, D&RW TAXI LTD may require a deposit before dispatching a vehicle.

The deposit amount will be determined individually based on the estimated value of the journey.

Any deposit paid will be deducted from the final fare.

4. Cancellation Policy

If a booking is cancelled before a driver has been dispatched, any deposit paid will be refunded.

If a booking is cancelled after a driver has been dispatched to the pickup location, the deposit is non-refundable.

D&RW TAXI LTD reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee if the driver has already been dispatched.

5. No Show Policy

If the passenger fails to attend the agreed pickup location within a reasonable period after the driver arrives, the booking may be considered cancelled.

In such cases, any deposit paid will not be refunded.

6. Payment

Payment may be made by card, secure payment link, or any other accepted payment method.

Failure to pay for a completed journey may result in legal action being taken to recover outstanding amounts.

7. Passenger Conduct

The driver reserves the right to refuse or terminate a journey if a passenger behaves in an aggressive, abusive, dangerous, or otherwise inappropriate manner that may threaten the safety of the driver, vehicle, or other passengers.

8. Alcohol and Drugs

The driver may refuse carriage to any person who appears to be heavily intoxicated or under the influence of drugs where there is a risk of damage to the vehicle or danger to safety.

9. Smoking Policy

Smoking, vaping, and the use of any tobacco or nicotine products are strictly prohibited in all D&RW TAXI LTD vehicles.

10. Damage and Cleaning Charges

Customers are responsible for any damage, excessive soiling, or cleaning costs caused by themselves or anyone travelling under their booking.

11. Luggage

Customers must inform D&RW TAXI LTD of any excessive, oversized, or unusual luggage at the time of booking.

12. Lost Property

D&RW TAXI LTD will make every reasonable effort to return lost property but accepts no responsibility for items left in vehicles.

14. Child Seats

Customers requiring child seats must inform D&RW TAXI LTD at the time of booking. Availability cannot be guaranteed unless requested in advance.

15. Delays Beyond Our Control

D&RW TAXI LTD shall not be liable for delays caused by traffic congestion, road closures, severe weather conditions, accidents, vehicle breakdowns, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

16. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting a booking request through our website, telephone service, social media, email, or any other booking method, the customer confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
